A Rare 1972 Interview With Jerry Lewis | SCH TimeMachine

We felt it would be a fitting tribute for Jerry Lewis (born in Newark, NJ) to take a look back at a rare interview he did back in 1972.

Originally recorded and archived by Belgium Television, Jerry talks about his upcoming production “The Day The Clown Cried”…which he wrote, directed and self-financed.

Per Lewis’s wishes the film was never released, but yet is still catalogued in the Library of Congress.

It will eventually be available for viewing in 2025.

Those that have actually seen the film have described it as “Genius”, “Ahead of it’s time” & a “Disaster”

Rest in Peace, Jerry Lewis.
Your comedic genius and iconic body of work will always be remembered.
